OpenMed Radiology
		OpenMed Technologies' OpenMed Radiology (OMR) application provides radiologists with a sophisticated and complete diagnostic workstation for the manipulation, review and diagnosis of radiographic medical images. The application, which takes advantage of standard desktop PC architectures and includes support for high-resolution display systems, including support for up to 4 or more screens connected to a single workstation ensures that in addition to the web-based OpenMed Viewer™, OpenMed Technologies can cater to the most discerning radiologist in providing robust, state-of-the art diagnostic tools. OMR provides all the features commonly required for imaging work such as window width and level control, zoom, pan and rotate functions, as well as a "magnifying glass" zoom feature for a region of special interest. In addition, the product supports the full range of DICOM image formats and can integrate both requests and reports review into a single workstation product. OMR delivers collaboration tools to the radiologist including image annotation, image printing and image sharing facilities, which enhance its capabilities when installed onto a hospital network and integrated with OpenMed Viewer via the Internet. The OMR application can operate as a full PACS workstation, becoming a core part of the radiologists' daily clinical workflow. In addition, OMR, installed at a radiologist’s home for additional flexibility and convenience, can be connected to the hospital or imaging center via secure Internet VPN connections.
